Lament for the World

By Aletheia on September 13, 2020 10:23 pm

I had in mind something different for this week, something more rhythmic and melodic. But then I attended a performance which somehow reminded me of all the bad state of affairs we are currently in. Of the little things that we cannot change because we keep on banging that we want to change the great things, not knowing that it's the little that is able to actually unlock the great. I did this lament in one take on the Korg Volca Keys, putting it through a 10 second delay and slightly modulated reverb (sometimes it shimmers, sometimes it doesn't).

Great piece with great sorrow. Most of us here improve the world through out music, or at least try.

This is a very evocative impro. It goes through different emotions and atmospheres.
