Forest of Shadows

It is time to blend the ancient and the modern so to speak. I had an old wooden flute I've been itching to try and use it in a song, despite not knowing anything to play on it. A perfect case for free-improvisation alongside a percussion medley using the Novation Circuit. The improvised melody is then passed through two granular synths creating the "pad" you hear throughout the song and the airy, chime-like ending (I used Tardigrain for the former and Spacecraft for the latter). Finally, a chromatic bass riff holds everything together. Enjoy the trip!

The flute gives it a dangerous tone to it. I like it.
