For What Is to Come

By Aletheia on February 13, 2022 9:01 pm

This was made today, as I've been away for the whole week and even if I had the iPad with me I didn't find inspiration for something. Thus today I picked up my electric guitar and recorded a post-rock-inspired line, then I added bass guitar. To complement the two I added some little Celtic-reminiscent violin (GeoShred on the iPad) and strings and piano from the Korg Wavestate (with the latter doing the thing that it does best, morphing from a piano to a synth pad). I am happy with what I've made in such a short amount of time and it shows that coming back to a good old instrument is a good ice-breaker when technology doesn't cut it in terms of ideas.

Love the Celtic touch, adds a lot! Beautiful track!

Great work, especially in such a short amount of time. I love the ethereal ambience of it all.

this is a relaxing and dreamy piece of music. very nice.

It's lovely, and impressing to make this in little time. I can image it to film scene of a long difficult journey.

Pretty all the way through.

Great work on the misty atmosphere. The celtic vibe especially is very well done.
