Fairy Dance Before Dawn

By Aletheia on October 25, 2020 10:32 pm

A gentle track responding to being nostalgic for nature. I used a pan flute alongside a Korg VolcaFM for arpeggios, Volca Keys for pads, MicroFreak for lead, Novation Circuit for drums (with custom samples) and an iPad to sequence and record. Key of G major (as the pan flute is tuned to this key). Late night recording in one take per section.

I love it - feels super emotional and ambient. Good job!

Pan flutes are so pretty. This pan flute is just so. Could use a bit more of it for sure.

Yes, I'm still learning it. When I bought it and came back with it I couldn't make any sound at all. It's fascinating how the tiny mouth muscles develop and sending the air column in the right place becomes habitual.
