Chant of the Storm

By Aletheia on February 16, 2020 10:18 pm

If you would take every element of a storm and replace their sound whilst still keeping their roles what would you get? Some would be bright, some would be dark, some would be repetitive while others immediate. Some tease and other frighten. They key of C# minor was chosen for this song and to the usual virtual modular setup a Novation Circuit with custom samples was added for the rhythms.

That's pretty philosophical, don't storms usually have rain in them though?

They do, and one of the sounds I attributed to rain smile I didn't want to put a rain recording, just replace everything. Thanks for your reply
