Over Horizon - Volca keys Analogue Labs

By Aisjam on April 26, 2020 8:38 am

Just got myself a Volca Keys to add to the table and wanted to just noodle with it this round. I am running it through the Yamaha THR10 to add some extra grit to the sounds. i plugged it into my midi controller to have some solid fun with the little box.

I opened up renoise and recorded the arp and pads with the Analog Labs and Pigments by arturia, then jammed to the track. I feel I am only scratching the surface with the keys, more play time is needed big_smile.

Nice atmosphere!

nice tones. those little volca units are quite surprising. have you tried the volca modular?

It fits the mood of a beginning. It's like the title screen music.

Modular is awesome. I would say its one of the most feature rich Volca up there with the FM. Ive got 6 of them (plus 2 mixers) and they are all special in their own way. Really handy if you want to add a backing synth to a dawless song.

Haha, all i make is songs and backing tracks for Games so it does flow over when I try to make "music" music.

So bright! Great tones. Sounds like fun!
