picking up pieces

spent this week mostly sampling drums, also found some isolated bass notes i liked. took the tempo down waaay slow (53bpm), and this is what happened. not really sure how i feel about it ultimately, but that's where we're at right now! enjoy

I love the latin flavor in here. Sounds like 2 pina coladas too much. Nevertheless very nice.

That basedrum has a nice punch man!
The main loop is super nice on that solid drums and bass.
Percussions are also sweet with that rolling bottle and that tzzzt.
The String like melody is bit experimental for my mood right now.
I like the marimbas (are that marimbas in the background) way more.

thanks! the kick is my favorite part i think, i've been hunting through old hardcore/metal CDs for more kicks & snares. and actually, i feel the same as pretty much all your feedback, the stringy thing is hit or miss for me day by day which is why i was a bit unsure when posting this one. and yes, some sort of marimba/xylophone VST

Nice! I particularly like the main e-piano riff, and that 'rolling bottle'-sound works really well.
