After a year of learning a lot in Logic Pro, I ditched it and busted my MPC1000 back out, and also tried out Ardour for the start of weekly beats 2018. I think I'm going to stick with that set up for the year, but who knows. This beat features samples from various virtual instruments, which I played, and then chopped up on the MPC. I'm a bit disappointed in the intro ultimately, and running out of time to master it better because I forgot the deadline wasn't midnight local time, but I like the beat for the most part. On to the next one!

thanks! it really does seem to come natural to the MPC, and was something i struggled to get right in Logic
