Oh this is wild - my mind actually shifted the snare to 2 and 4.  The keyboard riff is kind of circular so it didn't sound bad in that sense, but it does make the transitions seem kind of surprising.  Nice idea!

I love the mellow vibe. It doesn't really feel like you put the snares in 1 and 3, instead it sounds like the first hit is upbeat, putting it back into 2 and 4.

thanks! when i listen i kinda hear them on the 2 & 4 also to be honest, though i suppose it's ultimately the same thing until the transitions hit.

thanks! and yeah, it doesn't really make a difference where they are i suppose since they're evenly spaced. just makes editing the track odd since every thing feels shifted 1/4 bar. glad you enjoyed it

thanks! funky chords with circular delays i almost feel like i overuse, but i love how they make the repetition harder to identify. glad to hear you're enjoying the drum kit too cause i'm always jealous of the drums you use ha.
