Catch Me

By agesixracer515 on February 24, 2024 8:57 pm

This idea stemmed from many hours of watching murder mysteries. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has asked the question..." if I ended up_______could I get away with it." Played around with different guitar effects this week. I def want to finish this one as a whole.

Lyrics

What's the perfect way to end
A slice from ear to ear?
I'm asking for a friend.
Take you out behind the shed
a quick conversation to the back of your head.

I'm afraid to say that I can get away
with everything
that you're trying to do to catch me
you'll never catch me.

Sounding nice! I'm not at all advocating for self harm however if I was working on this song I might extend to a second verse where I flip the first verse on its head and discuss dark thoughts I have about myself. Just an idea in case you were thinking about extending the song.

Thanks for the idea! The song idea isn't about self harm at all. Its from watching a bunch of murder docuseries and asking yourself if you were ever in that situation could you get away with it. Thanks for listening!

Cool execution. Reminds me of some of the indie bands I used to listen to in the mid 2000s
