My February theme: “Sounds around us"

Make the beat quickly last minute before going to sleep.

[Reflection]
Somehow it keeps coming together into something. It’s getting easier to work with the Logic Pro piano roll the more I use it. But I keep starting these projects feeling aimless and uncertain and then through the process of trusting it to form around the ideas I’m laying down, something comes to fruition. Just how good an idea, or how much a vibe the selected sounds and programmed rhythms is, it’s hard to judge that on the night. In a few months I’ll be able to look back with clarity and understand what exactly this sounds like and why. For now, it’s a track that’s just long enough and has some sounds in it I enjoy. Let’s go!
[Improvements]
I would have liked to add a bright plucky melody over it. I also think the bass riffs might not be smooth enough but I’m not sure at the moment. I’d have loved to add more ambient atmosphere.
