Startup Sound L

Hello ! So glad to be back for 2026. I treated myself at Christmas with a Digitone 2 and started using it this week, so I decided that I will use Weekly Beats as a journal of my progress with the device - it's very fun to use and kind of rekindled my desire to make some music, as I've been unable to have enough time to use my other stuff lately.

So yeah, a lot of tracks will be done using Digitone only and I hope that tracks will get better as time goes by. Definitely excited to take part in this challenge again, hopefully this time I'll go beyond January lol.

Good luck everyone!!

banger!  Amazing start!  (I'm guessing you've used Electron gear before with a Jam like this)   The Eletrons are interesting devices to make tunes on - you kinda gotta go on the journey they force you to take (I struggle with this)  But they sound so full and the the FX processing is always super clean.  This one has me nodding in the studio ;-)  Good luck on your Digitone journey this year!

Really funky beat, my favorite part is around 1:40 with the noise bursts cutting through. And the delay sounds around 2:20 are nice and dreamy sounding.

Wow what a great instrument with so many amazing voices. This song is super rad! Love the heavy bass beat and all the percussion really.

Pi Twins... heh.
Nice ride!

Thank you very much for all the kind comments, it means a lot !!

Thank you so much! First time using an Elektron machine actually haha, but its sequencer reminds me of the OP-Z for some reason and I quickly felt home. Very excited to learn the Digitone more!

Vibing these beats

The kick sounds like a frog swallowing (I mean this as a compliment) and it lets the rest of the percussion sparkle.

i love the digitone sound - congrats!
happy new year!

This is really original, I like the way it builds up
