Ambient-ish Techno

By Aday on February 9, 2020 10:49 pm

Testing some patches from https://github.com/mehackit/technomachine - then over-engineering it again.

Just the right amount of drunk ambient techno

1 part Sloe Gin
1 part vodka
1 part technomachine
1 part looperator by sugarbytes
-inf part delay
-inf part reverb
1 part tape-stop
a dash of landr

Whoa... cool sounds. Like how you have melodic burst punctuated with breaks.  I really like this!  For some reason, I read the title as Amish Techno which may be an idea worth exploring, but the Ambient-ish Techno is definitely working for me!

I really like this track, it's pretty zany but really listenable too!

Ah cool was hoping to hear some Sonic Pi output from you! how you finding it? What’s sonic Pi and Processing doing in the chain? there’s some super nice granular bending going on

Fresh IDM vibe, excellent stereo treatments!

lol love the recipe

whoa look at that vertical monitor WOO BABY

yeah it's weird because it's kinda techno, kinda not, kinda a jam, kinda a beat, also maybe drunk???

the sidechainy sounding wash in the 2nd half is rad

wild, this goes in so many directions

The sounds fluttering add nice depth. I wonder what it would sound like to have them panning/jumping around.
