Thanks to my 1-week break from school, I was able to do 6 songs this week! Here is the latest one.

Also I've been messing with a different method of writing my music which has been really fun.

155bpm, 4/4

Jumpy, powerful! What's this (secret) method?

Basically instead of doing the weird method I usually use which involves writing my music in a guitar tablature software and then importing the midi into my DAW, I just write the music in the DAW itself.

It has its advantages and disadvantages. Overall it gives me less control than the guitar tab method, but in some ways that can be a good thing. I rely on copy + pasting more, which forces me to put more emphasis on the instrument's sound / tone, which is something I've needed more practice on. With the guitar tab method I have to write the music with the tab software's instruments which can make it difficult to predict how the final product will sound.

Also thanks to the new method I can write 5 min+ long songs in less time than it takes to write songs under 2 minutes with the old method, which is nice since I haven't had a lot of time to write lately!
