Guitar Loop 6

By 7506 on July 26, 2020 8:06 pm

A riff I've been playing around with the last week. Funny how all the fret and finger noise you never notice while playing is all you can hear once you've recorded it.

Yeah I know what you mean about fret noise. When I first started recording stuff it drove me crazy because I thought I was a shitty guitar player haha. This is a nice loop, I like the simplicity of it, does a lot with a little.

Compelling chord progression! Builds very nicely too.

Really cool, love when those little drones start coming in halfway through

The guitar playing and the drones are gorgeous. If anything I would've liked to hear more fret noise smile

Nice riff. Very dreamy with just the right amount of dissonance over the drone loop. No real fret or finger noise that I am able to detect.

Don't fret the finger noises, they're proof you're doing it live (sort of, certain VSTs can add it at the right places, but whatever). It makes it feel more authentic.
