Guitar Loop 4

By 7506 on July 12, 2020 3:33 pm

Tried to do something structured like an actual "song" rather than a bunch of loops layered on top of each other. A little rough around the edges (not sure about the way the distorted part comes in) but quite happy with it!

Great track, those shimmery guitar tones all work really well together then that distortion comes in and kicks your ass. smile

Although the distortion jumps in a little awkwardly, once it manages to land, it really kicks off the party.

Really calming & relaxing guitars.  The distortion took into Post-Rock territory ala "Explosions in the Sky" or "This Will Destroy You".   Nice work!

Beautiful melody over that nice ostinato, and that fuzz line is extremely satisfying.

That melody fits really well atop the arpeggio that resonates the 2 + flat 3. Relaxing track.

Yeah, I need to rework that...

Those are both big influences!

a great ambient post-rockish song. beautiful.

Super enjoyable listen. I don't think the jump to distortion is too jarring but maybe a short fade in transition is what would smooth it, that way the listener gets short notice that it's coming. I like the distortion section though.
