pioneering my new genre called Colour Stutter Bass Speed House

was already in a colour bass mood anyway, but originally i was gonna go for something more hybrid trap-esque, but when i decided to go with "rainbow" as the prompt, my idea sorta shifted to a more upbeat house style, vaguely reminiscent of Rainbow by Wuki, but with a little colour bass flair. this is probably the first song i've gotten really good use out of the EB-Resonator plugin and it's a really sweet lil plugin for songs like this :]

Neat! How did you make it?

thanks for asking!! it's mostly a mix of using logic's built in ringshifter, then putting EB-Resonator over it for the resonance, and using beat breaker for the stutter (...which, there's probably a better way to do that, like a tremolo? but idk, it worked here). the growling you hear at the start and throughout is simply a cut-up apple loop with EB-Resonator and the melody is an Alchemy patch. i made the bassline in Synth1 (a synth i ADORE using, it's pretty simple but it's really fun to mess with and see what sounds you can make) and all the drums are also built-in drum patches with some saturation, but the fills have some wonky filter fx going on (i kinda forgot how it works tbh i'd have to dig into the project lol). i think that's everything i can remember right now
