Iridium Sequence

By 2haf on January 19, 2020 6:28 pm

Bit of an odd one, will probably get revised a lot somewhere down the line.

Hope you enjoy!

Someday I hope to be able to make mixes this clean

So crisp

heart

Take me on another journey! Your piano work is always so fuckin' lushhhhhhh heart

Lovely melody, do you track those piano parts live? I'm curious to know how it comes together.

Sweet melody as always dude; you’re killing it smile

I wish I could play a game with this soundtrack. Maybe the rhythms are not as "genre standard" as in your other tracks, but the melody get stuck in your head and the mix is perfect.

Delghtful as usual. Downloaded, of course

Gorgeous melody on this one!  Neat contrast of time signatures too.

hieme, making music for Ghibli studio movies that have yet to come out! I like the running percs, they make me think of big rain drops falling on tropical leaves, there's a nice organic quality to them smile

This is beautiful. Love the way the melody and percussion play off each other.

+1 to what Laguna said. This game sounds great. Light anime vibes, smooth and pleasant mix / master. Great track.

wow, this is cool. i love and enjoy this beautiful mood.

Love the space in here... didn‘t feel odd to me... The metall like percussions are cool

I love the percussive hiss feel this whole track has, so airy. Very nice!

heart this

That's one amazing intro.

All it takes is some fairy liquid, bleach and baking soda. I'm sure I'm the first person to ever make this joke.

The journey is up to you my friend. The best I can do is offer up little hints heart

Thanks! The core idea for each section is usually recorded straight into FL from my digital piano, after which I tidy it up and often do extensive revisions / changes in the piano roll. From then on I might come up with more melodies in either piano roll or by improvising on the keyboard again, depending on how I'm feeling smile

Haha it's always been a low key goal of mine to do game soundtracks one day. Thanks as usual for your comment, you really are far too generous to me heart

Thanks guys! The perc was arranged from a handbag clasp sample iirc, it's a great sound.
