plane station

By 10k on January 29, 2024 12:01 am

my partner loves to call airports 'plane stations' and this one feels like starfox or some such so I thought I'd get it out there in the universe.

further explorations of chiptune and what that means in 2024. more heavily-Tobokegao-inspired snare synth sounds. lots of blippity bloop in there, an FM bass, a break, 160bpm.

This is a fun one! The drums sound really interesting, I like the layering of synth-drums with samples. Gonna try that!
Also like that mellow main Arp, very playful. smile

Cool track! I really like the rhythm section and the arps. Plane station reminds me of when they called a grocery store a good library on metalocalypse.

May I recommend tinkering with Mikey303's m8 instrument pack - that lead started as one of his designs, absolutely gorgeous!

"It's callda grocery store ya douchebegs!"

slaps as a frenetic and cerebral IDM joint!  btw the word "blippity" in your description got hyphenated to "blip-pity" which means it's now time to start a new project / netlabel / something named Blip Pity

love this one dude, great chippy arps playing off that fm bassline

I mean, an airport is undeniably a plane station. Just like this undeniably slaps.

Very lively beat, very airy too
does she call them train ports tho?
