Streets

I'm on holiday in NZ (it's absolutely gorgeous btw!) so haven't had a chance to work on anything 100% new, but here's a track I made that may or may not be used in an upcoming game. I think it's a bit too slow-paced for what the developer is going for, but it's got some nice sections that I might use for something else (or just extract the MIDI data and use in a Doom level).

Made with the Doom OPL3 sound set, using ADLplug in Renoise.

Some inspiration from Genesis (drum fill near the end of Second Home By The Sea), Deus Ex (Hong Kong level), and Strife (can't remember which level, but one of the melodic passages was influenced by a track from the game).

I really like this! Exactly the kind of mood for the title. Fav'd!

Love the layer of noise in this. Strummed kinda leads sound mega lush, loads of subtle movement in the programming. Nice one

I super dig this. Sounds like it started out as a really simple song that developed into many layers and rhythmic complexities. I also really enjoyed the sound set itself for this piece.

this is so great dude, so nostalgic and very polished and complete! you're a pro!

Thanks everyone smile really makes me feel less self-conscious about submitting tons of material that the developer didn't think was appropriate, haha.

And I promise I'll get to listening to everyone's tunes once I'm back from holiday!

enjoy your holiday and keep making sick beats like this

This was such a great listen. Nice to see you, here, again, Pselodux! I am really tempted to buy Renoise and make some stuff.

Definitely on the slower side, creating a sort of mix between a relaxed atmosphere and a tense one. These are some interesting streets.

like how this one begins, the gritty noise def adds a nice texture throughout
