Prepare for Trouffle

By 001247 on March 8, 2020 9:31 pm

Sorry for the weeks I havent been able to post stuff, real life gets in the way and my time management skills aren't good enough for me to both work in music AND study, idk when I'll be able to post regularly again but I'll still try to do stuff whenever I can/I'm feeling like it, I feel like being active at my artistic hobbies really helps me to relax.
Well, you know, I'm still doing these stage theme type songs hence the awful choppy endings, theyre meant to loop and .mp3 format unfortunately doesnt work with that :')
For this time I wanted to go for a mystical and relaxed yet vaguely omnious vibe, so I just accepted my roots as a Touhou fan composer here and let those influences loose here, I think it worked for the vibe I wanted, I even rushed the melody in the final part so I could post this before the deadline and it works and feels memorable, I normally dont get that lucky when rushing melodies.

Sweet Composition tho!

This a retro banger right here

That's a tight composition. I can feel the rush in the ending, but it's still all pretty solid.

I think you nailed the vibe you were going for, very nice.

Very FM sounding, what instruments are you using?

Yeah, I ended up correcting some notes in that final part a while after posting this and I feel it sounds a bit better (particularly one of the last notes that just sounds wrong as if it was off key, which it was to be fair), it still has that rushed feel because I guess I ended up liking that melody too much to give it major changes anyway.
