Haha thanks! Mostly with a small eurorack buchla (the tiptop stuff). There is a module that does that kind of chirping sound when modulating the pitch. It could be done in any synth really. It would look like an LFO modulating another LFO's frequency (rate). The modulated LFO would have to modulate the pitch of an oscillator, and the depth of that pitch modulation again modulated with a sample and hold or something like that. I did fine tuning to get sounds that I liked and fitted with the real birds then repeated the process!
