Another short one. Summer is slowly making its way here and I anticipate that I'll take less time for music during the next few hot months so I'm trying to work faster... I switched the modular on for the first time in a couple of months and managed to sync it with Ableton (had to correct the short delay latency on the recordings). I came up with a kind of brutish 8 notes sequence of raw waveform and tried to make it so that its repetitiveness wouldn't cause much fatigue.

Nice.  It kind of sounds like R2D2 released his first single.  The note sequence is oddly catchy.  It made me picture blinking lights.

More Serge I say!  Really dig the second half.

Yes, the second half pulls it together.

space and jerking motions are always tasty after dark

Thanks! Just to be clear, the drums were made in ableton. The modular was used for the repetitive 8 notes sequence and the ring modulated part in the middle only.

Thanks! As for your mix comment, coming from you I'm flattered, cause I always find your mixes amazing. Cheers!

Great use of the modular, adds a nice sound while still keeping the track very accessible and easy to listen to

Love the hypnotizing feel of the note sequence, very catchy in a strange way.

the sequence is suhweet and the bass is super thick!  love the sound of this smile

The thing that is really good with you, is that you really have a good sense of space. The mix is very good too. I miss those quality in my productions.
Well done.
