A more pronounced melodic element than usual for me this time.
Started with bass and piano (currently trying out the Pianoteq trial version to decide which version I should buy).
Added the same piano part put through Sector and then mangled with various vst plugins to create the distorted part that runs throughout most of the track.
Added acoustic drums as well as Volca Beats and a percussive loop from the Mopho.
And of course a drone. I can't help myself there.

Not quite the piano ballad it could have been.

Density!

Love the combination of instruments and the more melodic approach. Very enjoyable stuff!

If you think of it a tragic ballad… Nicely done.

Really diggin the melodies! Keep it up!

The melodic part is a nice touch and makes for a really nice, relaxing vibe.

Super hot signal on one of the instruments.  Gives the track a kind of analog warmth though.  Kind of like overdriving a tape machine.  Works well.

A very cinematic feel with the drone and piano.  Very well done!

very nice! c

This is a really beautiful noisy ballad full of subtle elements and drones almost reaching self oscillation... A really nice and inspiring work, indeed
