Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Still in a melodic mood here, didn't have the time to start a new project from scratch so this was based on an old drum machine and samples jam with some added live cymbals.
Shortened it a bit, added some bass and piano and some effects.
Maybe a bit long and meandering, but I enjoyed the slightly meditational feel.

The beginning kind of brought to mind a barren post-apocalyptic wasteland, but the piano part that comes in is very pretty in its simplicity. The different sounds that come in later flesh it out nicely as well.
