Another loop stack type composition. I forgot how much fun it is to just layer lots of guitar bits

It's basically a genre and lifestyle my dude.

I would buy an album of Zirafa + Looping

Wow, this is so like......happy sounding.  Really different to the unbridled energy of the 0-coast experiments

This really needs to be 7min long though, sorry that's my blanket criticism of all your work lolzzzzz but I do put a lot of your tracks on repeat (nooj represent)

This is very very very Ben Allison.  I could hear Ben really thumping away on the bass, then guitar coming in, then replace the longer tones with trumpet + sax, then imagine a super light brush drum shuffle, dancing around various cymbals, then real soft, barely audible tinkley piano in the background.

On repeat #3 now

I think I forgot to say: I really love this, this is really well done.  Hopefully that was implied.  Is this just Yamaha CS and guitar?  Did you use a looping pedal or record each bit on the computer?

This is so chill and smooth. Could have gone on listening to this all day haha

That's cool you got an upbeat vibe from it -- I didn't really hear it that way until you mentioned it.  I'm sure Ben Allison would've been able to compose a full track out of the ideas here, lol, my short attention span seems to get in the way. It is guitar + Yamaha CS + 0-coast (the high pitched chime type sound). Everything was done through layering in Mixbus (no loop pedal).

Thanks & thanks for listening!

this is pretty nice. Love your guitarlayers and the synth in the background. well done

I regret getting rid of my loop pedal and electric guitar when I hear stuff like this...beautiful track!

I like how you stack layers upon layers that each add a different nuance to the previous bars. Is that a live recording of a looping exercise?
