Pulsum Ferrum

By zeropass on May 11, 2022 6:33 pm

I'm sort of struggling.. but I really want to keep making music. I feel like some of the tracks I made prior are pretty good and inspired compared to the stuff I've been able to come up with lately.. but I'm hoping this is just a phase, and I find a spark to ride again soon.

There is a certain direction I would like to take my music in, but it's been difficult to grab it. So It feels like the stuff I could be making for a bit may end up being more experimental than pleasing to listen to.. but that's part of my exploration of sound-scultping. Anyway.. I hope you enjoy, thanks for listening.

This is kinda punk, I think it would absolutely kill live at the right moment of the set (just drop some subs in the midsection around 1:40-2:00 for extra oohs and aahs!

The following is unimportant and is not about the track but about the write-up.

Thanks for the response homie. I appreciate it. I probably do suffer from considering my music "unimportant". While I do put effort into making it- it also seems like maybe other people put more effort sometimes? But it's unclear. I'm just kind of assuming that live recording things takes more skill and effort.

But yeah, as I keep creating week after week, I do feel an improvement in my sound and song structure, and everything. I'm definitely excited to see what people think about listening to the track which will drop on Sunday, because I really like it. Check it out if you can- Either way I appreciate you listening and commenting! Look forward to seeing your other comments, and I will definitely check some of your stuff out when I get some free moments. Cheers!

got me head nodding, such a satisfying beat... and the 60hz hum is a perfect touch, i kept listening for it throughout and it had the same effect as a general harmony for the music(kept the mood focused in a certain way), nice one! heart
