OK. I'm pretty excited about this one, because I finally got something closer to a lo-fi sound. I know it's not perfect, but it's in the right direction. I also added some of my experimental flare in the last third of the track.

I'd love to hear feedback on the mixing, or just any opinions on the track. I hope to make more tracks in the same vibe, but we will see how it goes! Thanks for listening!

Oh shiiit. Sounds like a cross between chillwave and lofi.
Its got a unique feel of its own.

Only feedback I have is that the background synth around 1:48 and onward is a bit too loud especially for the type of low-mid frequencies its using.

But I think all the other sounds combined give a nice contrast. (Lofi percussion bits are *chef's kiss)

I'm really glad you mentioned that. That was the part of the song that felt lik it had no blueprint to mimic, and I considered just scrapping it entirely since it was such a vibe shift.. but I liked it enough to just leave it in. I kept trying to modify the volume of it though, I had versions where it was all very low, but it felt too in the background.. and then I had versions where it was louder, but it felt like it was too intense.. Overall, I feel like if I were purely making the track to be pleasing, then I would have gone without the part, just because I didn't know how to make it meld better.

Anyway, thanks for listening. I will take this feedback into my future creations smile

both soft and ethereal, yet also hard and rooted, such a beautiful juxtaposition of vibes and sounds here smile

nice combination of relaxed chillbeats in lofi manner and the refreshing synths. The vibe is absolutly fine and the mix around 1:48 is good for me.

Oh that's nice. I like the sounds you're using in this track. It's relaxed, mellow, lofi in just the right way.

sounds super nice! I'm listening on a speaker with a fat bass and the track sounds great, incl. the parts you are not sure about in the comments. feels like a great lofi track with an original twist.

I like how everything is so detuned big_smile I think that's what makes it unique, there is actually more movement and wackiness compared to the radio style lofi beats to study/relax to. but it's like you said, if you wanted to make it more pleasant you'd probably cut down on the wacky sounds, so I guess the question is if you wanna make something for listening or for background. I'd be fine with both big_smile nice job!

Yeah I have a really hard time to just sticking to the "tried and true". completely. your comment was cracking me up though, truly enjoyable big_smile . I really appreciate you listening and giving feedback! This is probably the first of many tracks that have some lo-fi components. So I'll try out various setups as I go forward.

I like the variety here! A lot of Lo-Fi stuff gets a little formulaic, your track is very original!

Thanks, It means a lot to me! I actually sometimes struggle thinking that my music sounds too "samey" with itself tbh.
