Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

I guess the prominent thing on my mind during the creation of this song was a sudden jarring change.. like when a friend who has been there for a long time, just can't be any longer.
It's a hard thing to deal with, but ultimately.. there is only one solution: move on.

The rather dark piano is a good contrast to the pulses, I think. Also the drums are nice and fat

Agreed--great contrast between the piano, drums, and mechanical pulse.
The piano could do with a little more prominence, it's pushed into the back by the bass.
