Wassup WB Fam! Got a bit of heavy tune for this week, my first time really attempting this style of track. I layered/processed a few Serum basses (low, mid, high) that are presets I tweaked, pretty straight forward boom bap beat on the drums with some layered foley sounds, arpeggiated hats and snares for that sorta trap-esque vibe, created an effects rack with a few instances of Shaperbox 2 to achieve a faux-scratching style over some acapella samples. Lots of saturation in a variety of forms lol. If I were to put more work into this I'd layer a bunch more resampled FX/foley textures and maybe make space for some chords or some more musical/melodic content in there haha.

I'm currently working through Syntorial's Serum lesson pack as I'm trying to get more familiar with sound design and become less reliant on samples. As usual, I'm open to any criticisms or suggestions. Thanks for listening!
