Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

A rather minimalist track. I discovered that my DAW has a scales feature and found that the notes I had played belong to G Half-Whole Diminished, so there's that. Quite happy with the punchy bass, and the fun little alterations in the drum and bass lines.
The whole thing came together in less than two hours, once again…

My highlight of the track is the short little riser at 1:10. I'm enjoying its sound design a lot. Its white noise pierces in a good way, and reducing the pulse frequency slightly towards the end is the kind of detail I love to see in songs.
