You have waited the whole week for this, I know. @scy and I met up at Gulaschprogrammiernacht last week and jammed together. (Be sure to check out his track, too!) With the clips we recorded in the progress, we both produced a track this week. Here‘s my take. (Edit: In the last export I accidentally cut off the final reverb tail… hmm)

Thank you very much, scy, for the opportunity to do this together. I had a lot of fun! Let's do it again some time.

That was fun! You know, when I ran out of inspiration doing the arrangement yesterday, I got the suggestion to "just throw everything together, shuffle it around a bit and see what comes out". I didn't do that, because I thought it would be a total mess, but listening to your track I get the impression that you actually managed to pull that off smile

The amount of things layered on top of each other, sometimes appearing to be rhythmically in conflict with each other, but not quite, makes for a really interesting listening experience. There's so much going on, and it's kind of overwhelming, but it also kind of works!

Also, each time the white noise riser that you've modified plays, I feel a little teased, but in a good way. It's not the rhythm I (as the one who built it) anticipate when listening, but the change is kinda satisfying smile

As I said: This was fun, let's do that again!

so mysterious. love it!

A very spicy song.
