Vortex Conflict

"You realize that you are approaching the superstructure that you found yourself in a short while ago. You attempt to tell the wanderer that the place you are headed to is infested with vagabonds, but the wanderer stops you short to tell you that they know. The submersible begins to be rocked, swayed, and pulled towards an opening into the superstructure. The hole looks like it was not designed to be there. The submersible is sucked into the superstructure, its expanse overtaking your view once again. The structure is flooding with water, the vagabonds floating atop it on their ships. They quickly notice you and begin to fire upon the submersible. The wanderer attempts to dodge the incoming projectiles, and you frantically search for ways to counterattack. The vagabonds turn their ships toward you, preparing to fight you head-on. You still do not know their motivations, but the vagabonds are still angry."

This week's beat was completely improvised with little outside inspiration. I think it ended up well, it sounds very interesting and carries itself throughout its duration fairly neatly. I think it also sums up the constantly growing danger that is being told in this part of the story.

The music and narrative converges ever more closely! Palpably subnautical battle themes throughout; wrath has obviously been incurred. Staying tuned for further developments...
