Dazed Awakening

"All of a sudden, you find yourself somewhere new. You are laying on the ground, and it feels cold. You sit up and your vision blurs. A sharp pain pierces you in the base of your skull, and you reach around to find blood dripping from a partially-scabbed wound. You take a moment to regain your eyesight and look around. You are in a massive concrete complex, equally as gray as the dune you were in before. A mountain of rotting corpses lay behind you, and the stench overwhelms you nearly to the point of vomiting. You begin to wander the long, winding corridors of the complex. Once again, you find yourself in awe of this place."

This week's track is a bit of a somber one. I don't really have much to say on it, it took me just 30 minutes to make. I based a lot of it on the idea that the character isn't quite sure what is going on, and is not in the best condition overall. Subconsciously, I think I took a bit of influence from the FEZ soundtrack, particularly the percussion from the track Majesty (that's my favorite one of the whole OST).

The darkest chapter yet. As someone who is also exploring weekly narrative, the esoterism in both word and sound is remarkable.

can definitely hear that Majesty influence, though you made something all your own here. love how padded out and noisy the synths are, definitely reflects that grey, murky quality in the story.
