I started listening to the Song Exploder podcast, which I would recommend to anyone else doing this project. They profiled the Album Leaf song "the Outer Banks", which influenced my initial Rhodes electric piano part on this song. I wanted a simple melody that would be longish, drawn out chord inversions. I wrote that part at 6am while up with my 6-month old earlier this week, then forgot about it til today.
I struggled to keep the song long, giving the repeating parts room to breathe. My instinct is always to move on to the next part, and I wanted something slower and dreamier than usual.

Well you certainly captured dreamy.

Pretty. I love the drum/percussion writing in this. Nicely done.

Nice work. The end is really neat.

Lovely little ditty.  The percussion groove is nicely done and the end section broke up the repetition with some cool variations.
