To break out of the rut of always using the software instruments in Logic I tried something different this week. I gathered up a bunch of my son's toys that were on the coffee table and recorded them using the voice memo function on my iphone. Chopped up the file, didn't edit any of the audio using effects. Tried to keep everything as close to how it was originally recorded.
Items used: partial bathtub xylophone, blocks, wind up glow in the dark grim reaper, wind up rocket ship, halloween music box, shaker teething toy, train blocks, popsicle sticks.
The title corresponds to the four notes I had from the xylophone to work with: F, G, C, D.
