The title caught my eye and I thought you may have been local as there was a dive bar in Adelaide called The Land of Promise and it was a great little dive bar with live music.
I like the slow meandering pace and vocal tones especially with the harmony as it reminds me slightly of Nick Cave.
Thanks m8 appreciate it Yeah I'm an Adelaide lad from West Croydon now based in Brooklyn. Where in Adelaide are ya from around?

Ah well there you go! Haha. I'm southern suburbs. Brooklyn would be quite a change I'm sure although there's dive bars in every capital city. God bless them. Hehe.
Nice somber vibe with the tremolo guitar and vocal layering. Like the lower vocal register that come in. What part of Brooklyn? I'm in Windsor Terrace, which is the least cool section of Brooklyn (on the positive side). Adirondack is our corner bar for the neighborhood. Not so much a dive, but tiny.
Hey mate, Brooklyn Navy Yard to be exact Windsor Terrace, that a cool little pocket, nice one that's near National Recording Supplies!
