kochikochi

Kochikochi (こちこち) - the translations range from "dry" and "hard" to "strange", back around to "puritan" a quick pitstop at "fearful" and then a beeline to "being tickled".

This week, the well has run DRY, so just a STRANGE tune with a HARD kick. a jam might not be a full track in the eyes of a PURITAN, though others might be less FEARFUL of the rules. Hopefully next week my creativity gets TICKLED a bit.

No time this week, so just a jam on my NDS XL with Korg DS-10. It's long, mostly unedited and quite repetitive. Hope you like it just the same.

Any and all comments are welcome! hate it? love it? feel indifferent about it? let me know!

Lots of good textures here. I feel like a lot of the good ideas here. Any chance you'd be open to making this into a sample pack?

Oooh, it might be repetitive, but you've got some sick manipulation in this, I dig it!

glad you dig it! pure DS10 goodness big_smile

Whoa, I don't remember DS10 sounding remotely this good. Nice work, you've got some skills on that thing. I like the way the notes from arpeggio fold into the delay to make those colorful harmonics.

i was trying to find the hidden meaning in DRY STRANGE HARD TICKLED but i think it just smacks of truth

It's obvious in the sound how much you're having with that DS man! Great textures, as User Agent said. Track gets crazy sick towards the end heart

This is great, this vibe would be really nice for a futuristic movie. I love how the rhythm and melody complement each other. Well done man! heart

Gotta agree those textures are sick.

Maybe it's a little bit unpolished, but you got quite a raw acidic sound from such a small box. Kudos for the energy and the spontaneity

For a 'no time jam' this is variety plus plus!
I love a good use of flange.
