Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

I'm still recovering from being unwell and work/show prep is kicking my ass, so a lil sketch is all I can pull out this week, but I figured something is better than nothing.
Anyway, this is a song for laying in soft grass at night time with your eyes full of stars.
Wrote it as a process of prepping and making some ideas work as a test for a commission.

Listening to this back rn and the insects chirping very loud irl in my town are blending with the ones in the song so I was like "oh hmm i dont remember having so many chirps in the post-roll" long after the music has stopped.
