crude waste

This week the polycarbonate record lathe seems to sound a little bit better, but I don`t know exacly why. It could be the fullmoon, the duration of exposure to the turtlewax, the missing of antistaticfluids, the temperature of 39.23 C, the additional slipmap in red, a small EQ-booster while cutting between 200-1k HZ and 5k-20k HZ, even the record does not playback those frequences.
Still I think everytime, it is WONDERFUL to have such a simple old technique to store the music.
However, when you prefer to hear this properly, I highly recommand my Q-rosh version on WB this week with organ and drums.

this sounds very different from the q-rosh version and thus cool in it's own right. i do prefer the q-rosh version because i think there is some magic there, but i feel like this could lead into it on a album or something, like be the track before as an interlude. I really like the pluckiness towards the end. very strong week 4!

Isn't the lack of reproducibility and the variations you get from the cosmos a wonderful element of surprise? It could be frustrating if the objective were to deliver a consistent sound, but since this is more a creative adventure, it's ok to welcome what the gods of music throw our way, and make some little space for them to sit at the table. I'd love to see a video of what the setup looks like!

I love hearing both your tracks each week, still thinking this idea is pretty awesome lol. I want a lathe cutter some day hahaha.

Thank you very much, I will try to do a documentaryvideo or a YT-clip about this procedure this year. Bye, see you soon.

I like this, it's kinda cute.
