Pass the Time

One thing i dislike about throwing songs together all in a week like this is the lack of opportunity to shelve a song and reset the ears before doing a final mix. I'm sure this will be one I listen back to and find simple things that irritate me, but on the whole it sounds alright.

Been keen for a bit to do more dnb again. Doing this i got a little back into the swing of breaks and have a few ideas i've been nursing, so will probably do more dnb in the coming weeks.

I got a B-Verb rack unit recently which i finally hooked up in the rack. The reverbs on it actually sound great to me, so i put it all over this one.

Before we got to the break I thought maybe you were going lofi.
Personally I use the weekly limit as R&D and exploration. It's rare things are "completed" but so much is saved for later and having journal of each song makes it easy to go back to stuff.

Also the drop at 1:30 bangs

dope. nice carole king.

Great song buddy, mix sounds clean on my end 👍🏻

Eerie feel to that sample flip in the intro. I dig it. Nice chops on the Kid Capri break too. Add me to the MORE D&B request line. Thanks.

Thanks man, that was all the encouragement i needed

Man that turn around 1:29 so good, love how the vocal leads in to it. The build and outro later on work really well too
