Light Up My Light

There is a bit of kit i want to get to using for these thing which I'm not quite getting there yet, but slowly will.

Lot of the usual suspects, plus used the Fostex 3050 delay and the Ibanez HD1500 which sounded cool harmonizing on the pads.

First minute absolutely pregnant with anticipation till those hats come in.

Sorry ment to pay dues but forgot

Completely perplexed about how you found that video. The way you recontextualised that vocal sample is so cool! It would not have been better if all the notes were in tune, i think less interesting probably. You took something that people are laughing about and used in a way that shows the intrinsic value. Hats off. And the composition excellent!

Thanks for taking the time to listen and for noticing. When I watched that clip there was some music playing in the room and I had a inkling of some potential. Happy that it all came off, appreciate the kind words.

Love the crisp drums on this one. Awesome sampling, as well. I especially like the point around 2:50ish where it's like a wall of screams. Great work!

Groovy drums

Consider my light lit!

I love that vocal sample and the filtering on the drums.

Man, some of those drum fills are craaaaaaaaazy, good job!
