A continuation of last week's weekly beat.. all new moments and material. Lots of new bass noises. Buuut technically further into the same song. I got really into this tune post-Halloween. Went out Halloween night and now I'm working all weekend- so I'm submitting this Friday night, otherwise I might have something additional to share.

This tune is a good example of the 'chill neuro bass' stuff I've been going after recently. Sound design was made quickly in Serum. Rather than making the bass first- I made the core of the beat then designed a bass in Serum after I recognized the key (D Major). I was pushing to get back into the song and keep going with the idea, so rather than spending an entire night on bass design, I did it in Serum in about an hour. The results have been relatively similar even though I cut some corners here and there in the bass design session. I think I prefer having a more sounds generated and more finely sculpted basses with a longer sound design session. However I see how you could quickly generate some Neuro's in whatever key you need at whatever part of the songwriting process you feel like doing it.

D Major, 93BPM, Serum & Alchemy mostly.

Really great atmosphere--that vocal-like bass is a very cool hook.  Nicely done!
