Nakabusa

By void_gate on January 4, 2026 6:01 am

Made this on my recent trip to Azumino in JP. Took my M8 and put it together. Some samples are sampled from the roaring Nakabusa river.

I can hear that river roar. Love the textures going on.

Thanks!

Lovely textures throughout, those swirling layerd vocals are gorgeous.

Very nice!

I love the quiet beginning (and the river!) that seamlessly transitions into a bright, happy melody.

Damn. I am severely underestimating the sampling capabilities of the M8. Not to parrot everyone else, but those textures are dope.

just for a clarification, the initial rush of water is from a sample pack, the secon steady river is a recording with some pan automation.

A pity I lived 2 years in Tokyo (2023-2024) and we never met T_T

The mix of the drone, the voices, the chiptune-like trills and the river sample....  A+

Where is the voice from?
