Haze

By ViridianLoom on July 5, 2020 10:58 pm

Got a lot of mental fog lately. Haven't really been taking care of myself too well lately, as in eating too much junk food and sweets, barely getting any exercise, napping too much throughout the days, etc. Might be affecting my song writing because I feel like I've come up with several cool ideas this week but I couldn't seem to bring anything to fruition. This one started with the beat which I had fun writing but then everything else was kind of up in the air. I couldn't really envision a sound I wanted to go for.

There is a lot of potential there. I love the subtle guitar layers around 2:14, hidden under the rest. Let's continue making music until the mental fog dissolves. Good luck!

Compliments on both the chord progression and the pad playing it. Mental fog definitely happens. Hope you can find chances to catch a break and do something restorative. If it's any help to know, your tracks have been really solid, and I've been having a blast listening to them.

I feel you, man. These days I can’t go a month without taking a day off. It’s tough. I think this track works really well and definitely evokes the feeling of haze. Nice work!

this one is a pretty cool thing. The beat is catchy and the guitar riffs are hot. Had to listen 6 times.

I hear you on the exercise and junk food, I haven't been napping though...I've been going to bed way too late and getting up too early to walk the dog. Feel like a zombie most days.

This track is great though, like Q-Rosh I gave it a few spins.

Despite everything, you did manage something nice. For the time being, you gotta make your laziness work for you.

Very nice work. Remember, creatives are never really lazy. Creatives are viewed by ‘normal’ folks as half a bubble off plumb anyway. So, the definition of lazy is really subjective. While creatives are apparently laying about doing nothing, we are really working. Most of our work is mental so nobody can see us work.
