Meh, kind of disappointed with this one.
Could only muster up a couple of ideas and they're not strung together with any kind of way that I think is clever or tasteful. Then the mixing leaves much to be desired, it sounds really flat which has takes away from the impact of the guitar being introduced (which ideally would have come in "harder"). I feel like my last couple of submissions have been pretty crappy and I'm not sure if its because I'm not trying hard enough due to weeklybeat fatigue or if its because of all the overtime.

The good thing with this track is that I feel like I've found a sci-fi VGM tone that I really like between this track and digital shopper so I guess that's something.

Gonna go watch horror movies with the gf now. Also this is the closest I've cut a submission, 1 minute until upload.

I feel like fatigue is definitely there for a lot of us at the moment. I've been lacking inspiration and motivation, but I'm really impressed by how good the tracks are from everybody who isn't completely happy with their own track haha. This has some really cool ideas in it and an interesting flow, and I hope that after some time away you can come back and hear it for its strengths. smile

These are fantastically atmospheric ideas. The transitions feel just fine to me. Props for getting this one in with under a minute to spare!

I am not disappointed with this one at all. Getting in a good relaxation during the first minute and then feeling the uprising staccato guitar fits perfect. The whole song has a very nice dreamy vibe. well done.

I too am feeling that end of year WB fatigue.  It's become a regular occurrence the past few weeks too where I'll get all motivated and inspired early in the week but not actually work on anything til 1-2 days before the deadline.  Rinse & repeat.  Just gotta keep pushing forward and stay positive.  I'm def feeling those VGM vibes with the main chord progression.  Especially how the strings give it that dream state feel.  Sorta reminded me of Chrono Trigger telling it's initial storyline smile  The bassline with the guitar sounds cool too.

This is very nice track. The mix of synth layers and guitar is good and the guitar work is very fine! Impossible to make your best work ever every week, don't sweat it too much!

very dreamy and lush. I love the very laid back mood of it. The sound world could be cheesy in the 90´s tangerine dream style, but your track stays on the right side and sounds fresh. Great piece of work...

It's relaxing, that should be enough. Every kickass album needs a moment of downtime to recharge.
