Peak laziness.
Came up with one phrase, looped it 4 times until I filled out a minute, added some layers to give the impression of dynamics, and a little bullshit improvised melody that I quantized.
This actually started out as an acoustic guitar thing that was getting too big for its britches (I got a habit of piling on new riff after new riff) and I figured I'd just strip all that away back to its intro, make it video gamey and call it a day. The more I add to a song I get stressed because it's a bigger challenge to tie stuff together.

Yeah, I'd like to hear the guitar version too. I like that you managed to give it a good sense of movement and flow even though you were at peak laziness haha
Love the "xylophone/chimes", sounds a little like Christmas season is starting for you now. You lazy work is strong... (I was MORE lazy this week, I did let Niko do all the job finding new chords and stuff figured out something to play on drums, did not event take the time to record properly, just started my cellphone video during the jam... lol)
this is the moment in the game when you wake up in a wondrous, magical new place after the screen went dark in peril
This is a simple melody but it works well. It would feel perfectly right in a point and click game.
Gives me a real strong Majora's Mask feel (for all the boomers out there haha)
That's music alright. If you break down the process, you're never really doing much more than that.
The result's still great of course.
Kind of enchanting and a bit mysterious. Love the brightness of the chime sounds.
Sometimes simpler is better. Nice work!

cute!
Nice melodies and arrangement! It'd be neat to hear the guitar version too.
