Almost Lifelike

Taking it easy this week and decided to try a simple loop to build a song off of after being inspired from listening to songs from other members of the community last week. I probably could have just started right at the loop but then I felt like adding some kind of ambient synth nonsense at the beginning to set a tone of uneasiness before settling into something comfortable. I have no idea what key it was in so I just kind of leaned into that to make it sound off. The rest of the song just kind of drifts and came out alright, some of the lead melodies kind of clash rhythmically but I didn't want to spend too much time on it since I'm looking for some R&R.

Very glossy and mysterious. You do a really great job of capturing pretty somber moods!

The ambient intro works well setting a dark tone. It blends well with the guitar lines. The drum is very good too. Nice illustration also, what is it?

It's a piece of art from Zdzisław Beksiński. My band used one of his pieces for the release our EP, of which I'm now going to shamelessly plug that here haha.

Well put together. I like the intro too. Pads are nice and pretty good guitars.

Wow, this is great! I love the harmony and arrangement here, nice work.

The thing about tense intros is that they never really leave the song. Great song regardless though.
