Ghost Market

"What're ya buyin?"

Quality but difficult items to obtain, [The Market's] elusive nature makes it dangerous to even arrive at. Once there a shady dealer pushes his wares, or "Suffer the consequences"

Tentatively, a choice is made. The shops's music fades as steps make their way to the [Void Glades]. Monsters surround the corners of traveler's eyes. One mistep and an untimely fall leads to savage death.

With darkness all around, there's complete loss. A purple light glimmers. It's followed.

The shop's music creeps back. The adventurer realizes they've looped back from where they came. They come back in, hopeless. They fade into the background of the shop.

Dig the mood and variation in this track, the arrangment is something special.

The way you execute the roadmap you laid out in the track description is awesome. Feels like a solid proof of concept for a roguelike soundtrack - especially with those seemless transitions. Cool stuff! big_smile

Lot’s of cool things going on in your track.  Contrasting rhythms, super unique sounds, a fun ride indeed, we’ll done!

love those arpeggiaty-turny riffs establishing momentum, then how you break it up with dreamy drops, similar to how the beat is straight in momentum at times then suddenly a bit more chaotic in the way it starts to add a stumbling complexity, great one! heart

Love the minimalist underscoring to this one. The impacts definitely convey a narrative vibe.

Really love that degraded arpeggiated sound towards the beginning. Nice balance of textures. I love when you create just the right about of space for a sonic treat to happen.

cool creepy arps & love the sneaky beat and bassline. great backstory/lore
