DON'T YOU EVER TALK ABOUT ME

By Very Very Small on January 25, 2014 8:39 pm

This started out as something I thought might be a rap song, but then morphed into something just... I don't even know. Never added my own vocals, as I think I might be coming down with a cold (scratchy voice). It's out and out ridiculous. I ripped samples of audio from the recent infamous Richard Sherman/Erin Andrews interview, as well as samples of Anna Nicole Smith because of course, right? I actually did work meticulously on some of these beats. This "song" features live finger cymbals and cheap Irish tin whistle. Enjoy? Oh, and you might want to kick down the treble settings when listening to this. I thought it would be neat to start the title each song sequentially with the corresponding letter of the alphabet. For example: week 1-A, week 2-B, etc. This once starts with a 'D' and also happens to be in the key of, wait for it.... D!

This is AWESOME.  I love it. Great job.

Totally digging this.  Great beat, great samples, disorienting guitar and other instrumentation. Great job.
